Fátima Chapels

Experience the history and beauty of Fátima's chapels on a guided tour, where you'll learn about the story of the apparitions and visit the iconic sites such as the Chapel of Apparitions and the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary.

You can also take part in the traditional activity of lighting candles and making a wish, all while taking in the stunning architecture and peaceful atmosphere of this important pilgrimage site.

Nazaré

After experiencing the spiritual ambiance of Fátima, our tour continues to the beautiful coastal town of Nazaré.

Known for its stunning beaches and as a world-famous surf destination, here, you will be amazed by the picturesque views of the ocean, and the charming town.

You will get to explore the narrow streets and alleys, visit local markets, and enjoy delicious seafood at traditional restaurants.

And, of course, you can't miss the famous Nazaré lighthouse, and the impressive views of the coastline from Sítio, the highest point in Nazaré.

Sítio & Lighthouse

Sítio is the upper part of the town of Nazaré and it offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the ocean and the town below. From here, you can also visit the Chapel of Our Lady of Nazaré, a historic religious site that has been attracting pilgrims for centuries. Sítio is a charming neighborhood full of colorful houses, quaint shops, and restaurants that offer local cuisine.

The Nazaré lighthouse is a must-see for anyone visiting this coastal town. The lighthouse is located at the end of the promenade, and it offers stunning views of the sea and the surrounding cliffs. It is also a great spot to watch the giant waves that have made Nazaré a famous surf destination. The lighthouse itself is a historical landmark, and it has been in operation since the 19th century. Visitors can climb to the top of the lighthouse for an even better view of the ocean and the town.

Lunch

After exploring the breathtaking views of Sítio and the Nazaré lighthouse, we will take a break for lunch at a traditional Portuguese restaurant in Nazaré.

Enjoy fresh seafood caught off the coast of Nazaré while taking in the beautiful view of the ocean. This will be a delicious and relaxing way to refuel before continuing on our tour.

Óbidos

Leaving Nazaré, we continue our journey to the charming medieval town of Óbidos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on a hilltop overlooking the countryside.

This fortified town is surrounded by a wall that has been preserved through the centuries, and inside you can stroll through narrow streets and admire the traditional whitewashed houses with their colorful window frames and blooming flower pots.

Visit the Castle of Óbidos, stroll along the walls and enjoy the panoramic views, and taste the famous local drink, the Ginjinha, a cherry liqueur served in a chocolate cup.

Batalha and Alcobaça

Discover two of Portugal’s most magnificent monasteries. We can visit the Alcobaça Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at its grand halls and visit the tombs of King Pedro I and Inês de Castro, whose tragic love story is one of Portugal’s most famous legends.

We can also explore the stunning Batalha Monastery, built to commemorate a victory at the Battle (“Batalha” in Portuguese) of Aljubarrota - a major event in Portuguese history. Its intricate Manueline and Gothic details will leave you in awe, and inside, you’ll find the Founder's Chapel, where Portugal’s most important monarchs rest.

These two historic gems offer a glimpse into Portugal’s history and architectural brilliance.
